Why Dealogy

Great Deals Need Great People Around Them

Buying or selling a business rarely involves just a buyer and a seller. Successful transactions depend on experienced professionals providing the right expertise at the right stage of the deal. Dealogy is building a more connected M&A ecosystem so providers become easier to discover, understand and engage throughout the transaction journey.

More visibility

Contextual presence inside the transaction workflow, at the point where your category of expertise is needed.

Better-qualified opportunities

Structured context captured before an enquiry reaches you, so the first conversation starts further along.

Stronger professional relationships

Brokers, accountants, lawyers, lenders and specialists connected around the same transaction.

More completed deals

The right expertise arriving early enough to keep a transaction moving rather than to rescue it.

The provider problem

Professional Expertise Shouldn't Be Difficult to Find

Professional-services business development usually depends on referrals, personal networks, search engines, events, cold outreach, intermediary relationships, generic directories and repeat clients. Those channels remain valuable and Dealogy does not replace them. It adds contextual visibility inside the actual M&A workflow.

Found at the wrong moment

A directory is searched when somebody already knows they need a lawyer. Dealogy can surface the category at the stage the need arises.

  • Discoverable by transaction stage
  • Relevant to the deal in front of them
  • Not dependent on the client knowing what to search for

Judged on a paragraph

A generic listing gives a prospect a company name and a phone number. A provider profile carries expertise, trust signals, services and content.

  • Structured expertise, not free text
  • Verified information marked as verified
  • Your own guides and insight

Enquiries with no context

Most inbound arrives as a name and a vague requirement, so the first meeting is spent establishing facts that could have been supplied.

  • Client type and transaction stage
  • Industry, location and value
  • Service required and timescale

Disconnected from the deal team

Being engaged is not the same as being part of the transaction. Selected professionals can be brought into the deal itself.

  • Enquiries and proposals
  • Document access at the level granted
  • Deal-team participation
One platform. Multiple opportunities to become part of the transaction.

Be Present When the Need Arises

Dealogy follows the transaction from first consideration through completion and beyond, which creates openings for providers at four distinct points rather than one.

1

Pre-deal preparation

Valuation input, financial clean-up, tax structuring, legal housekeeping and getting a business ready to be sold or to buy.

2

Transaction execution

Due diligence, legal drafting, acquisition finance, insurance and the specialist work a live deal generates.

3

Completion

Disclosure, completion accounts, funding, warranties and the mechanics of getting a transaction signed.

4

Post-deal growth

Integration, people, systems, marketing, operations and the value creation that follows the transaction.

Provider value

Why Join Dealogy?

The measure is the quality and relevance of the enquiries you receive, not the number of them.

Reach deal-active clients

People who are actually transacting, at the point they are transacting, rather than an audience browsing a directory.

Showcase expertise

Your specialisms, sectors, deal sizes and experience expressed as structured information a client can filter on.

Better-aligned opportunities

Matching on industry, geography, deal size, transaction stage and service requirement, so what reaches you fits what you do.

Become part of the deal workflow

Move from being found to being engaged, with the transaction context already in front of you.

Build trust before introduction

Qualifications, accreditations, regulatory status and experience visible before the first call.

Grow professional networks

Brokers, advisers and other providers working on the same transactions as you.

Reduce business-development friction

Less time qualifying, more time doing the work you were engaged for.

How it works

Join the Dealogy Provider Network

Six steps, and the first three are the only ones that need anything from you.

1

Create your profile

Company information, people, locations and the basics a client checks first.

2

Select your specialisms

Categories, sectors, transaction stages and deal sizes you actually work on.

3

Showcase your services

What you do, with indicative scope, timeline, information requirements and deliverables where that helps a client understand it.

4

Become discoverable

Present in the directory, the category pages and the transaction stages your expertise belongs to.

5

Receive opportunities

Enquiries that arrive with client type, stage, industry, location, value, requirement and timescale already attached.

6

Build relationships

With clients, with brokers and with the other professionals around the same deals.

Profile experience

More Than a Directory Listing

A Provider Profile works as a professional storefront, and at the same time as the structured data that powers search, filters, category pages and matching. It is both the marketing surface and the source.

Company and expertise

Who you are and what you actually specialise in, expressed so it can be filtered rather than only read.

  • Company information and people
  • Sectors, deal sizes and transaction stages
  • Specialisms and service types

Trust signals

Professional services depend on trust, so the profile carries the evidence of it. Verified information is clearly distinguished from information you supply yourself.

  • Qualifications, accreditations and regulatory status
  • Professional memberships and insurance
  • Identity and company verification
  • Experience, reviews and testimonials

Services, made easier to buy

Where it suits the work, a service can carry indicative scope, timeline, information requirements, deliverables and pricing model. This is to clarify an engagement, not to commoditise professional judgement.

  • Indicative scope and timeline
  • What you need from the client
  • Deliverables and pricing model

Your own expertise, published

Guides, articles, transaction insights, videos, checklists, sector commentary, case studies and FAQs. Educate, build trust, create conversations.

  • Let your expertise do more of the selling
  • Content attached to your categories
  • Found by clients researching the problem
Intelligent matching

Relevant Expertise. At the Relevant Moment.

As a buyer, seller or broker reaches a transaction milestone, Dealogy can surface the provider categories that milestone actually needs: M&A legal advice, financial due diligence, tax structuring, acquisition finance, insurance. Recommendations are contextual and transparent, and they are not a guarantee of suitability.

Matched on what fits

Industry, geography, deal size, transaction stage and service requirement, rather than on who paid for placement.

Context before the first conversation

Client type, transaction stage, industry, location, business value, transaction value, funding requirement, service required, timescale and supporting documents.

Deals are won by teams

Brokers, accountants, lawyers, lenders, due-diligence specialists, insurers and consultants connected around the same transaction ecosystem.

Transparent, not guaranteeing

A recommendation explains why it was made. The client chooses, and professional judgement stays with the professional.

Integrations

Dealogy Doesn't Have to Replace Your Technology

Dealogy is a connected M&A operating system, not another system to migrate into. Providers can progressively connect the tools they already run. Bring what works for you; Dealogy connects the journey around them.

Client and calendar systems

CRM, calendar and email, so an opportunity reaches the place you already work from.

Documents and data rooms

Document management and data rooms, so material lives where your firm's policy says it should.

Accounting and workflow

Accounting systems and workflow tools, connected rather than duplicated.

APIs

For firms whose systems are their own. Connection is progressive; nothing has to be connected to join.

Why now

M&A Is Becoming More Connected

Clients increasingly expect faster answers, greater transparency, digital workflows and better access to expertise. AI makes information easier to find, while expertise, judgement, trust and professional relationships remain fundamental. Technology where it helps. People where they matter.

Help shape the future of professional services in M&A

We are inviting early providers to help decide what this becomes, while it is still being decided.

  • What information clients actually need
  • What makes an opportunity valuable
  • Which workflows should be connected
  • How technology can improve professional relationships

What a founding provider gets

Direct influence over the roadmap, and a say in the standards the network is held to.

  • Your category shaped around how you really work
  • Early access before the network opens
  • A direct line to the founding team

FAQ

Joining the Provider Network: common questions

Is this a directory?
A directory is part of it and the least interesting part. The intent is that qualified providers become part of the deal journey itself: discoverable at the transaction stage where the expertise is needed, selectable through structured profiles, and progressively brought into the workflow through enquiries, proposals, document access and deal-team participation.
Does Dealogy replace my existing business development?
No, and it is not designed to. Referrals, networks, search, events and repeat clients remain valuable. Dealogy adds one channel those cannot provide: contextual visibility inside the M&A workflow at the moment a need arises.
What makes an enquiry from Dealogy different?
Context captured before it reaches you. Client type, transaction stage, industry, location, business value, transaction value, funding requirement, the service required, timescale and supporting documents where they exist. The first conversation starts from facts rather than from establishing them.
How is trust handled?
Profiles can carry qualifications, accreditations, regulatory status, professional memberships, identity and company verification, insurance, experience, reviews, testimonials and case studies. Verified information is clearly distinguished from information a provider supplies about itself. We do not blur that line.
Do I have to publish my prices?
No. Where it helps a client understand an engagement, a service can carry indicative scope, timeline, information requirements, deliverables and a pricing model. The purpose is to clarify how you work, not to commoditise professional judgement, and it is optional.
Will AI decide who gets recommended?
Matching is on industry, geography, deal size, transaction stage and service requirement, and a recommendation explains the basis on which it was made. It is contextual and transparent guidance, not a guarantee of suitability, and the client chooses.
What does it cost to join?
Membership terms for the Provider Network are being finalised and will be published before anything is charged. Founding providers joining now are helping shape what the network does, and we will be clear with them about terms before they apply.

Put Your Expertise Where Deals Happen

Showcase your expertise. Build trust. Create relationships. Generate opportunities. Become part of the deal journey.

Provider matching is contextual guidance and is not a guarantee of suitability, of an engagement or of an outcome. Clients choose their own professional advisers, and professional judgement remains with the professional.
