Dealogy (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a trading name of Dealogy Ltd (Company No. 16097106), registered in England and Wales. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Data we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
Account data: name, email address, password hash, account role (buyer, seller, broker).
Listing data: business details, financials, asking price and other information you submit when listing a business for sale.
Enquiry and communication data: messages between buyers, sellers and brokers, NDA responses, and deal-room activity.
Payment data: subscription billing details processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of access, and similar usage data.
Referral data: referral codes generated or used when you register.
2. How we use your data
We use your personal data to:
Provide and improve the Dealogy platform and its features.
Facilitate transactions between buyers, sellers and brokers.
Process your subscription and manage your account.
Send you transactional emails (account confirmation, enquiry notifications, deal updates).

Other platform users: when you engage in a transaction (e.g. a buyer and seller are connected), limited profile information is shared as necessary to facilitate the deal.
